On March 13, 2019, Nicole was shot three times by a shotgun.
She has had 13 surgeries.
Her left hand was amputated November 5, 2019.
She is a Paralympic snowboarder.
She is a nurse.
She is a daughter.
She is a friend.
She is a survivor.
